Strengths: Well situated for Nabeul. If you pay extra for the use of a hot shower, the bathrooms in the hotel rooms are very pleasant. Campsite itself is perfectly decent, but not large.
Weaknesses: Campsite toilet block is truly awful.

Strengths: Friendliness of outside staff excellent - was presented with fresh flowers by gardeners in the morning. Toilet block very good, just needs hot water ! Hot showers in hotel rooms OK, but not fantastic. Plenty of choice of food shops within short walk.
Weaknesses: Local area very busy & noisy.

Strengths: Friendly staff.
Weaknesses: This campsite requires maintenance in ablutions block. Swimming pool needs to be repaired.

Strengths: Facilities are good. Very quiet and green area close to an oasis. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Strengths: El Kahena is a Jewel in Tunisia. Ismail and Sonja provide an excellent camping and hotel facility. The campsite is perfect for camper-vans and safari-set 4x4's. The rooms are incredibly clean and very comfortable, washrooms (both shared and in-room) are spotless. The views are fantastic, and Sonja's breakfasts of eggs, brik and other goodies are excellent. We opted for dinner here and we have to say it was also *incredibly* good - especially for the price.
This place is a little slice of magic.
Weaknesses: If you want peace and quiet this place is awesome - if you want a disco you're probably out of luck :) It's more like a retreat which we greatly enjoyed so - you'll just have to be ready to entertain yourself. We recommend having a coffee with Ismail - he's an absolute joy to talk to.

Strengths: Hotel and camping very clean, the prices are reasonable also in the restaurant (good food). The owners Ismail and Sonia are helpful and very friendly.
Good position to daily tour in El Jem, Mahadia, Sfax etc. Near a fisherman village and port. The hotel and camping are in front of the sea.
Weaknesses: Only little shadow in the camping. Difficult to swim because water is absolutely not deep.

Strengths: Ismail and Sonya make you feel like part of the family ! El Kahena is easily the best place we've stayed in Tunisia so far. The prices are impossible to beat - we came to camp, but stayed in the hotel for only a handful of dinars more than other places were charging for camping. The sanitary facilities are leagues ahead of the other campsites here.
Weaknesses: El Louza isn't the centre of the universe, to be frank. It's a very friendly village, about 50 km from Sfax, with a lively port and great sea views - but probably not for those who need to be in the heart of the action.
